At Eli Whitney Tech in Hamden, Culinary Arts Instructor Heather Priest is training the future chefs of the world.

“Nowhere else in the country is there a school system like ours. Our vo-tech system gives students the training a certification that employers are looking for,” says Heather. “They leave here with the skills necessary to have a competitive edge in the workforce.”

Make sure that resources for the vo-tech school system is a part of education reform.
